Trading Volunteer
The Trading Department at Age Concern Surrey provides insurances and products for customers which are tailored to their needs. The income generated by commission earned is fed directly back into the charity to help to fund its local services.
Responsibilities
To help our customers with sales of insurances to suit their needs. Full training given to gain proficiency in use of on-line computer sales system.
Inform customers about other products available from Age Concern
Assist with marketing and merchandising activities.
Skills
Good communication skills
Understanding and empathy with older people
Basic keyboard/computing skills
Experience of working in an insurance or finance
environment desirable.
Expenses
All out of pocket expenses will be met
Hours expected
A minimum of 3 hours each week between 10am and 4pm
