The work of Age Concern Surrey could not happen without the group of dedicated volunteers of all ages who provide care and opportunities for older people who are involved in every aspect of Age Concern's work
Good fun and great company!
If you have the time - however little - there are so many ways in which you can help.
The rewards are great. You will use your skills, meet new people, have fun and find it very, very rewarding. And you can be sure that the time you give is making a positive difference to older people in the community.
Without the help of people like you, vast numbers of older people would be alone and struggling. Behind the scenes there are all kinds of opportunities for you to gain skills or use your experience. We'll give you all the practical support you need to get the job done, and you'll be covered by indemnity insurance. You'll have a great time, you won't be out of pocket and there's even a perk! After only six months with us, our volunteers can take out Age Concern insurance whatever their age. |

With around 6.6 million people over 70 in the UK, more older people than ever need our help. Why not give us a call to chat, or arrange a brief meeting to talk about where you can help. There is no commitment at this stage - we should be delighted to talk to you.
