Walking for Health Walk Leader
To regularly lead short walks (of up to three miles) in the Bellfields, Slyfield, Park Barn areas of north Guildford.
To meet with other walk leaders on a quarterly basis to review and plan the walks.
Location
Stoke and Westborough wards of north Guildford
Skills
Approachable with a warm friendly personality
Basic first aid (training will be given)
Committed to and enthusiastic about the walking for health scheme
Good local knowledge
Expenses
All out of pocket expenses will be met
Training
Half-day induction to Age Concern Surrey
One-day training course, arranged locally
Half-day basic first aid course, arranged locally
